I AM ONE OF THE UNFORTUNATE PEOPLE WHO DOESNT GET TO DRIVE THEIR STANG ALL YEAR LONG.
QUESTION IS THAT WHEN I STORE MY STANG FOR THE WINTER, IF I LEAVE THE BATTERY DISCONNECTED, WILL THE COMPUTER "LOSE" MY CUSTOM TUNE?
DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THIS WILL HAPPEN, OR AM I BEST OFF JUST RETURNING IT TO STOCK AND THEN REINSTALLING THE TUNE IN THE SPRING?

 

I store mine though winter also and never had a problem with my tune. Plus I'd had alot of dead batteries the past few months and my tune is still there.

 

You won't lose your tune with the battery disconnected.

 

thanks for the input, i didnt think it would happen but wanted first hand experience

 

tune will be fine, may want to put stabalizer in the gas though. Some people do it, some people don't depends on time sitting etc

 

I store mine for the winter, and put one of those trickle chargers. It keeps the battery charged. Got it at Auto Zone.

 

Battery tender plus..... FTW! (while in storage anyway)
