Default Which exhaust?

So far I have decided on a FRPP X-pipe and MAC headers. I am looking for deep sounding, fairly loud cans w/ minimal drone? I am leaning toward Boom-Tubes, Magnaflow Magna Cat Back or Mac Axle Backs. Any input? Opinions? BTW I have an 08 GT/CS. Thanx

The x pipe will not give you a deep sound. It's going to be more raspy and higher pitch.

I say go with an H pipe with high flow cats.

For your muffler choices there, I'd say boomtubes.

I am going by what I have read and have listened to on the net. X-pipes usually result in a raspier tone, especially when the engine is reved. I have listened to a few mustangs with X-pipes. They sounded deep, but did have a hint of raspiness. MAC axlebacks are deep, but they do drone more than most if not all. Boomtubes are a good choice. I would have gotten them if I didn't get an awesome ebay deal on magnaflow magnapacks. The magnapacks have an a deep tone and are loud, but not obnoxious with an H/pipe. I have listened to this setup on line with an x-pipe. At idle is sounds good, but when reving and at WOT, it sounds a little raspy.

Boomtubes do have some drone. Maybe not as bad as others. I get it around 1800-2100RPM.
