Default Loudmouth or Boom Tubes??

I am in the market for new axle back exhaust. Ive narrowed the search down to these two. I want a prettyloud setup. I have Longtubes right now withhigh flow cats. I know the basic differences in sound between the two of them. I just never heard neither one in person. Which one would you get? The Loudmouths are also about a $100 more.

No. They will still be loud, and actually sound good!

just my 2 cents worth. this new body mustang with the mufflers in the rear just didnt give me the sound i wanted so i went with the slp loudmouth exhaust and damn it sounds awesome. its has a nicely toned idle but going through the gears, wow. it has a destinctive sound thats hard to describe. its sounds very mean and not obnoxious like a 77 ford pickup with no mufflers.as for the other brands i havent heard so i cant give a opinion. good luck.

Neither....Mac chambered or Borla/Steeda/FRPP/Roush. Theres a fine line between sounding loud and good vs. loud and obnoxious

I have SLP and i LOVE them. I looked around at alot of different set-ups, and i think these sound the best. They have a great tone to them, sound great at idle, and they really scream when you get the rev's up. They make the car sound just like it should, old shcool muscle car sound. I get comments about my exhaust from people around town and they all love it. It is a very well made kit, it bolted right in, and the stainless steel tips are really good quailty, nothing made cheap. I would go SLP, you won't be disappointed. Jord
