Default Question, need help

Ok, I recently bought a set of Foose Nitrous wheels, I suppose I need to make a new sig eventually, but I now have 18x8 in the front, and 18x10 in the back, sporting some 275's in the back.

I went to the strip, and since I have a Roushcharger, 445 at the crank, around 360 at the wheels for horsepower, and 418 at the crank, around 340 at the wheels in torque, I spin through first second and thrid on the track, getting less than desired times. When crusing at 20 mph and up, when I punch it, Lilly takes off like a bat out of hell, but just no take off traction.

I do not have drag slicks, as I don't go to the track maybe once or twice a year, but what should I do to get better times?

What psi should I put my tires, and what other tips?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Drop your tire pressure to around 17-20psi, and slip the clutch some when launching

lower the rear psi at the track 2 lbs per tire. that should help a little.

if you only go once or twice per year, get a set of used drag radials and 2 cheap rims and swap them out when you go.
