ummm ok well true but would you have not had to cut the cats from the h to keep the cats and attach the x? I have fords cut and bolt on x and had to cut both sides of the cat side of the intermediate pipe. and im guessing that "your tech" would of cut cut between the cats and the H on either side to drop the H to add the X.
as for the flow I would guess it would only make sence that the arrow would point to the rear of the car.
That being said the wider aspect of the X would be to the front of the car and the narrower part would be cat back side (rear)

yes, my mistake, i talked to him this morning, he did make two cuts he didnt mention over the weekend, between the cats and the h... but as far as the direction of flow arrow... he has the pipe installed just as the instructions show in the link i provided a few posts back...

ok so i got ahold of pypes and they said that the arrow is suppose to point forward... which is weird because usually arrows on exhaust indicate direction of flow ? oh well, thanks for the input. Now i only need to know which headers will fit with this pipe... anyone ?

06 stang GT you've got it right. Forget the arrow (pypes is known for crap attention to detail) you have it the right way. the other way around will not work. cut it and away you go
