thanks everyone..yeh this is my gift to myself for "so far" beating cancer.. i got the 2.6/ stage 1/IC..(TS1000-07-INT) polished and more than $1000.00 cheaper than the Whipple

I think that's about what the price hike on the whipple was a short while back.

I've been thinking more and more about the saleen recently.

Yeah a polished KB or whipple is pure sex.

The only problem is Brenspeed told me my carbon fiber elbow wouldn't work with it as it would hit the hood. GRR! That's one of the reasons I wanted the Saleen is to keep my full CAI kit. Maybe if the engine was lowered a bit like they have to do with the 3.4L whipple on the GT500 (or GT too I guess).

that's what kept me from going with the saleen...i just couldnt stomach the stock looking elbow, i looked into every option and Seth at Brenspeed confirmed what you said. Unless you want to spend another $600.00 for the extreme cold air kit, to me it just wasnt worth it. With the KB kit you get a "true CAI" and included MAF sensor
