Default LT install question

Reading the Bassani LT install pdf online...

Looks like their LT pipes are each installed individually. So the diver side is 4 separate pipes. The passenger side is 4 separate pipes. The collectors are installed separately to hold the mid-pipe ends of the pipes together and to...collect exhaust obviously.

Are all brands of LT's installed as individual pipes like this? I was thinking a LT header was normally all 4 pipes in one unit. If that's the case, I'm thinking maybe these Bassani LT's install a lot easier than most. Seems it might not be as cramped moving one pipe at a time into there. I also see the instructions mention nothing about jacking up the engine.

Yeah - says 2 of the 4 driver side pipes are to be installed from above the car instead of feeding them up through the bottom. Interesting.

I was wondering if anyone still made them that way to make installation easier. When I had my Mustang II with the 302, Hooker Headers made a special application set for the Mustang II. 2 of the passenger side tubes went in through the top and into the main tubes. They didn't even have clamps, and they never leaked.
Thanks, now I know where to get my headers.
