Default whitch cam?

I got all the money i need for the cam but idk whitch one to get. Thumper or FRPP hot rod. My car has a CAI and O/R exhaust. I hear you loose alot of down low torque with the thumper but not with the FRPP, but the FRPP one is haveing idle issues. So idk whitch one to go with Brenspeed told me that the thumper is the better choice, mabe there just saying that to try to make a sell idk? My car is a DD and ima going to have about 2 weeks for it to be able to get ever thing right. What do you all think i should do?

people on here seem to think hot rods are better for a dd. thmprs are better on the high end compared to hot rods that are supposed to be the **** through out the whole rpm range. just a choice you gotta make. my vote is thmprs and grab some 4.10 gears.

If you get a dyno tune you shouldn't have any idle issues assuming the tuner knows wtf he's doing. It's the email tunes that's iffy. Although plenty of people are using email tunes (bama) and they're running ok. But it may take a try or two to get right.

They sound pretty close to me. I'd say both win in the sound department. Performance though, I like the FRPP's consistent gains for a street car. If I were making a car that races a lot, then comp for sure.
