Default Hurst

A question for you guys running the hurst shifter. Do you reuse the factory boot cover or does it come with a new one? Can someone please post a picture of the shifter so I can see what it looks like inside the car? Thanks

You reuse the factory boot cover, but it slips over a rubber grommet on the hurst handle. Sorry, I don't have any pics.

reuse the factory boot unless you feel like upgrading.

Awesome, thanks guys. The shifter does stick up higher than stock which is what I was wanting to see. Thanks for the pic.

Oh and sorry about your Aggies Texotic...

I bought the 2008 Bullitt shifter boot and bezel assy, the boot fits the Hurst shift lever without having to use the grommet.
