FINALLY! A 'build date'

I got a build date! I got a build date! [sm=bounceybounce.gif][sm=drooldude.gif][sm=happy046.gif]

According to my little automated friend, My baby will be born on 6/27 (I know, it's a Monday).
I'm hoping like heck it'll get here by the week of the 11th. I'll have to poke around here and see what
build to delivery time is but I just had to tell everyone!

All build dates are a Monday... just means anytime that week. Delivery averages 2-3 weeks after the build date. So, the week of 7/11 might be a good guess.

Thanks Don_W. I called Chatty today because after I heard "June 27th" I started yelling and didn't know if they actually gave the VIN.
No VIN given... And my stupid dealer hasn't even called yet. Morons. Wonder if they are awake? [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif] No real point in having
the VIN this early - it'd just be cool. I won't start checking on it until we get within a week or so of "build".

BTW - I'm a bit worried about Wondercooldude (is that right?). He hasn't posted anything but he is logging in. I just can't fathom that he didn't run
back down there and try to get it - even if it was gone. He may be logging in between trips to the john to throw up...[:'(]

That's great! I also ordered my GT Premium on 3/11 - but still clean and unscheduled. What was your priority number? I can't wait to hear Chatty give me some better news when I call that 800 #.

Honestly, I didn't ask about the Priority number... probably wasn't very high. I saw someone else who had ordered on 3/11
and they had just gotten a build date. Hopefully ChatCat will have good news for you tomorrow. Hang tough. [sm=hiya.gif]

That is the same build date I got. But the interesting thing is that I ordered on 11/17/04. It's been a long wait for me. In the mean time I bought this great looking Sonic Blue GT and the one I ordered is a Mineral Gray. If I went ahead and bought the mineral gray one, I would have 2 unique colors since they were both discontinued for 06.
