A goof tranny cooler is a good idea however I don't think anything else so strengthen it is needed, you should of course get a good torque converter with the proper stall speed for the turbo and the type of driving the car will see. MM&FF has a project car with the FRPP 500hp whipple on an auto trans and they stated it's crucial to have the shifting down perfect were you get no overlap, that is was causes failure in the auto trans.

I'm at 450 rw/hp and my tranny is stock and I have not had any problems.

I talked to JDM and they told me they have three race cars running from low tens to mid elevens in the quarter with stock automatics and they do not have not have any issues.

Good luck!
