Default Timing the 4.6 3V

Does anyone out there have step by step procedure in setting the timing in a 05 3V mustang. I have put in comp #127300 with manley springs and retainers and I have cam phaser troubles.

Thanks

Thanks hammeron !

First I though my car had some problems with the timing, now I´m sure its a phaser noise, stupid VCT !

well the good thing is, if it is
the phaser at least you don't
have to take the front cover
off, to work on it....

oh...i'm starting to see the picture
here....

if your new springs are so stiff that the
VCT is having trouble regulating the
phaser position, that's why you would
need phaser limiters or lockouts.

This cam works with VCT according to comp so no lockouts are needed. Maybe these springs are too stiff?

I'm curious why these instead of the SPR line which makes a lot more power?

Hey guys, problem solved, pretty strange the car just was sitting in parking while the engine runing and after a while there was no tapping noise mmm....

SirKnightTG the #127300 has been used in SC cars for a while with good results, not a problem with valvetrain and tuning too, even stock cams are good for high amounts of HP, I just wanted a cam that can give me some more hp without getting me intro major problems.
