Interesting... Maybe it will come with a price break due to the economy or an increase due to 3 years of R&D.

I'm referring to the "hanging into second" when shifting I mentioned in my original post. That issue has yet to be resolved in my car.

Since I know of no one else with one installed, I don't know if its a design issue or something funny about my car.

I don't think you have anything to worry about though, Doug always takes good care of his customers.

Good news everyone, the new shifter is in and it's perfect. All issues seem to have been resolved! I can now officially give this product two thumbs up.

I got tiered of waiting on both TCI and B&M, so I went out and bought the B&M Mega Shifter that they told me wouldn't work and installed it, I used the original ford cable and with a small modification have it in the car, and I love it, and it looks like an old school Hurst 4 Speed, the only thing that was funky was the handle was way to high, so I checked around and found that the console Mega Shifter they sell for the older camaro and firebird used the exact same shifter but with a short handle, so I bought one of the short handles from Summit and installed it and it fit perfect, and it makes the car a hole lot more fun to drive.

My TCI shifter still hasn't come in.

I read on another forum others (including tdbrown) got their shifters in. The new 2nd batch. I hope mine will be coming soon.

I emailed Doug about it last night but no word yet. I heard that bamachips was having internet problems today though.

OMG WTF!?

Doug just emailed me and said I'm next on the list to get one and I'm ahead of 7 people. I'm going to send him this link and see if I can get it cheaper.

Doug just told me that the price those guys are selling it for is LESS than what he has to pay for them.

I don't know about that place in that link there. Something's not right with those guys.

according to tdbrown75 posting on another forum, it appears that is directly from tci and is because they recently cut the price.
