dealer gave me a frpp x-pipe for next to nothing but when i took it to a couple of shops for the install they all wanted a 100 bucks to do the job. one shop wanted an extra 30 bucks to weld each end aswell So now i figured i would do it my damn self but its cold in the garage and i didnt feel like getting under the car with a saws-all but 100 bucks seems too be alot. Am I being cheap?

 

I made the cut marks myself, then had the shop cut it, and then took it home and put it on myself. They charged me $15 to cut it. Bundle up and do it!

 

You can always install at home, then have it welded that shouldn't be more than $50.

 

$100 bucks sounds right, it's a pain in the *** job. That's what I charged couple my customers. If you decide to do it yourself make sure your measurements are PRECISE!!!! It doesn't need welding, I haven't welded any the clamps they give you work great.....that melty sticky goo is good ****. LOL
