Default slite wine when accelerating

Hi i just purchased my 07 mustang gt with an auto transmission. I am wondering if others with auto 05 to 09 gt's notice a slite whine coming from there car when accelerating from a stop as if you were at a light and then slowly take off up until the transmission switches from first to second gear? i notice a slite whining noise that lasts up until i hit about 20mph and then once the transmission shifts it stops. Any help is appreciated.

Yeah man I have the same thing I think it is just stock Gear Whine but I really don't know for sure... for me it starts at around 20MPH and end's at 40PMPH I don't mind it at all as long as the car is 100% and happy. Only thing bugging me now is after accelerating to maybe 20-30MPH and letting off... I think my exhaust has a slight whistle.... haha maybe I dodn't clamp one of them down enough and there is a small amount coming out and whistling at certain speeds of air going through.. haha I am gonna tighten it up with my H pipe tonight and hopefully it goes away. But you should be good man. Enjoy it!

As long as its normal i dont mind but it was scaring me. i read a couple of horror stories after i googled it. i mean feels as if the tranny changes the gears fine and all. the other thing that surprised me is that there is no way to check the level and condition of the tranny fluid in these cars. that doesnt make much since to me.

Yeah the fluid thing is annoying. You can buy a deeper pan that comes with a dip stick and filler tube. I seem to remember it's kind of expensive though.

I need to change my trans fluid.
