Headers?
Has anyone heard of Pacesetter longtube headers? Any reason why they are so cheap compared to other longtubes? Is the performance that big of a difference compared to headers such as BBK,Kooks,Mac? Any advice would be great.
Never heard of them sorry. Kooks seem to be a favorite on this site, I just purchased a set of BBK long tubes from brenspeed and are waiting for them to arrive. As for performance most long tubes seem to give about the same gains so it's really more of a personal preference i think.
Pacesetter is a more budget brand the warranty is good discoloration occurs often, not sure on reliability

Mac and Kooks came out on top for peak hp/tq numbers. but they all average about the same throughout the power curves, give/take a few hp. if you go cheap, you will wind up w/ a cheap part that is cheaply made.

I have them... they fit and sound very good. Haven't had a dyno yet but I hope to do that soon. The appearance of the ceramic coating is very nice too. The only thing some people may not like is that the mid pipe is aluminized and not stainless steel. I had an aluminized hpipe on my 03 for three years and it looked like new when I took it off so I don't have a problem with it. Made in USA too! Here's some pics..
