Default MAC LT's and a catted x-pipe?

I have a buddy thats looking into getting these headers from brenspeed but the only thing i see on their site that fits these headers is the prochamber. I've purchased through brenspeed before but when i asked about it the guy said you have to splice in cats to the prochamber. my friend doesn't really want to spend that much for the prochamber. Is there a normal x-pipe that will mate up for these headers (they look to be midlength) or is this prochamber route the only way?

Josh

You just need a mid-pipe that is made for LT's. For example, Brenspeed also has a BBK X with high flow cats for LT's ($399) or the prochamber (417).

So any x-pipe made for long tube headers will work with these headers? If thats true my friend will be very happy.

Awesome thanks they looked to be a weird length so both he and I were a little worried that you need a mac mid pipe to make them fit correctly. Thanks for the input PremiumSilver. How do you like your Eibach Pro-Kit? I've been looking into getting lowering springs for my car.

I think as long as you stay brand specific with long tube headers you will be OK, Mac headers with Mac X pipe, BBK headers with BBK x pipe, I doubt you can interchange these parts without causing a big headache. Only if you stay with shortie headers will you be able to mix up the midpipe.

PremiumSilver you just installed these headers? What mid pipe did you use, and how was the install?

How was the install for the springs?

I talked to someone at brenspeed and he told me that you can call and place the header order and they have an x-pipe that will fit these headers and a CAT kit that you can splice in but it's not listed on their website.
