I just wanted to get some impressions from anyone who has gotten a Brenspeed tune for their automatic equipped Mustang. Is it well worth the money? Were they able to fix the throttle response and shift points to a point that made tha car feel more like it should? Thanks for any inputs or opinions.

 

Brent(Brenspeed) had tweaked a tune for my frinds 05 auto. Turned out well. Ask him for the tweaks he had done for '70MACH1OWNER's tune. If you want, I can get you in touch with the owner & get some first-hand feedback.
(Scott). He had done some work on the shift points.
I've also heard nothing but great praises on Bama's auto tunes, you may want to also talk with them.
Standard on mine, but I've been happy with Brenspeeds tune on mine.

 

Both Brenspeed and Bama tunes will improve throttle response and shift points. Both have excellent tunes and customer service. From what I've read on the forum, it seems that Bama has a slight edge for automatics but IMO you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. Either one's tunes will make your car more alive.

 

+ 1 on both , however they don't match up to a dyno tune. If you are on a budget get one of their tunes, I have street and race tunes from each (87/91 octanes) at the track there both about the same, on the street I like Brenspeed a little more.....

I have the brenspeed one and it hauls a$$. Even makes manual shifting more usable. I am going Bamatune though when I get my gears done...

 

I have one of Brenspeed's tunes but he did it on the dyno for me. I also have a Level 10 tranny but not their tranny tune. Brent has my car shifting just right.

 

A guy here in Austin said his Brenspeed tune made a huge difference on his 09 auto.

I think you will be pleased with the Brenspeed tune for your auto. I was running their tune prior to the Paxton and it was great. Throttle response was great, very smooth through the RPM range and it shifted hard and crisp.

I really like the brenspeed tune. I drove my car stock the other day and just about cried, it felt no faster then my moms ford edge!
