Default A Starting Problem??????

This started the other day when my passenger window wouldn't roll up or down. I took the motor out and cleaned it pretty awesomely. When I stuck it back in the motor made a loud winding noise while slowly moving the glass. At the same time of the noise, my lights flashed and my cd player paused followed by an opening and ejection of the disc.

I tried fooling with it again yesterday but the battery had died so I charged it to about 80%. Put the batter back in this morning and everything works fine with the exception of the motors persistent laziness. But when I tried to start the car it made a rapid clicking noise and refused everything else.

been playin with it for a bit the past few days. now its gotten to the point where when i turn the key to start it everything turns resets (like when you disconnect the battery). i'm at a loss fellas...

Its an 95 GT (i know, i know...) but i'm not havin any luck in the other parts of the site.

thanks for any help / suggestions in advance guys.

Maybe post it in the right section of the forums you might get more responses.

Time for a new battery it sounds like, and maybe a new window motor.

So is your prob the window motor or a starting problem? As far as the motor goes are the three plastic bushings bad inside the gear housing of the motor? And yeah a battery sounds like a good idea also.

it was posted in the right section the first time. Battery still holds charge and the motor will get replaced eventually...
