fuel pressure gauge with whipple 2.3

On my 4.6 I wave a Whipple 2.3 blower and I want to add a fuel pressure gauge. Where do you tie into the fuel rails or ? Looking for ideas?
Thanks Jim

I use the aeroforce interceptor gauge to read fuel pressure. I had an electrical fuel pressure gauge with the sender T'd into the fuel crossover hose that goes through the blower. I didn't like having the sender laying there on the engine and it was one more place for a possible leak, so i ditched it.

I also was thinking of using the cross over hose, but a failer would could spray fuel on a hot engine. I have the autometer gauges, in the cobalt series. Any other ideas? After market fuel rails ?

hey there jimmymustang, options sure are
limited for us whipple users.

i'm not gonna recommend any way in particular, i'll
just show what i did. it's been fine for a couple of
years now, but you should do what you feel comfortable
with...

good luck and let us know how it turns out....

Thanks for the pics, that is probably the way I am going to go. Did you use teflon tape on the fittings or another? Is teflon safe with gas? Another option could be a new fuel rail, check out Fore Precision Fuel Rails. They have a second tap further up forward up the rail. They are pricey, and I still dont know if they would have enough clearance for the sender. Any other rails that come to mind that might work? THANKS Jim

i forgot to mention I am running 60# injectors with a twin pump set up if that makes any difference. THANKS

I put a 'T' in the fuel line and it would leak after about three months. I got tired of replacing the fuel line and the dangerous leaking fuel so I went with Aeromotive fuel rails and SS braided fuel lines. Here is pic of my setup.

The Aeromotive system is big bucks { fo me it this point} what othe options can we come up with?
