2005 or wait for 2006 ?

2005 or wait for 2006 ?
Hi
A local dealer has just got in today a Black/ Charcoal GT premium coupe 5 Sp, IUP, Ive got a 2006 tungsten/ red leather on order
Question is, should i grab the 2005 while i have chance ( im getting xplan on both)
Or do you think the promised delivery for the 2006 on late sept/early oct is realistic ?
The only downside to the black car are the colour, i like black but would prefer Tungsten and the 17 inch painted aluminium wheels instead of the 18 inch on the 2006
My other thought was to grab the black and transfer my order to a 2007 500GT
Appreciate any thoughts

Unfortunately lots of ford dealers suck when it comes to GT's !!!

I wish I had your problems: "Should I grab a great car now...or wait and get a better one later...or get the great one now and a killer one done the road...let's seeeee.....which will it be...?" unless you are full of ****.

Buy the 2005 for the following reasons:
The 2005 is the first year for the new body type, therefore it will hold it's value more.
The 2005 is sold in fewer numbers than the 2006, therefore it will hold it's value more.
The 2005 is there now, therefore you get it now, no waiting.
Black is a great color too, beleive me, you'll love it.

Got sick of waiting, went out looking seriously today.
Came back with a Black 2005 GT 5sp, IUP, Red int, Shaker 1000, had to pay MSRP but this is still a good deal in the chicago area.
Dont know what i was confused about, the car is awesome its so different from the German and Japanese cars im used to.
I need to get used to other stang drivers waving !! in my other cars they were normally doing something else !!
Cool car, now i need to start the mods
