Default HELP! Fail safe engine mode

So this morning my 05 GT wont start . - NEVER given me any problems.
I finally do get it started but only in FAIL SAFE ENGINE MODE. JUST LIMPS ALONG .

had battery cables off yesterday to reset computer - but i drove it all day yesterday after that & it ran fine ..

Any help ??

Turned out to be a bad throttle pos sensor .. mechanic ( not a ford dealer ) says there are TSB related to this problem . Does anyone know if Ford will cover the repair ?- out of warranty obviosly as its an 05

TSB LIST

TSBs are designed for the technician to use to help with repairs.
If it is out of warranty, I doubt a TSB will get it fixed for free.
It worked for the first 3 years of its life OK but went south
after the warranty ran out.
