Default Hooker Headers

I'm looking into headers now, and I'm considering a set of Hooker longtubes and an O/R x-pipe. Does anyone here have any experience with those headers?

I have no experience with these headers on our specific cars, but have had them on others. They are a great bang for the buck header. The gains vs. price are real nice. You will love them for about a year. The draw back is that they are not stainless steel. The Hookers will rust and you will be replacing them in about 3 years of daily driving. Mine were even ceramic coated and still they rusted. I would recommend to save your money and do it right the first time. Get a set of 1 5/8 KOOKS LT'S. The construction of these will last forever and be leak free. The install fits nicely and Kooks makes more power than almost all others. The headers also are tune friendly and wont give you headaches down the road. They also give more average hp and tq gains than all other headers which is nice for a dd because you will gain power thoughout the rev range, not just on the high end.

Hooker headers did the worst on the shootout comparison. MACs did very well!
