Hey, i have an inspection coming up in July, and one of the requirements is a muffler on the car. Right now I have muffler deletes...So I have a feeling those wont slide... So I figured I'd see if anybody knows of good (mufflered) a/bs that would sound similar if not better than the deletes..

I use to have Flows A/T and hated them.. So anything else?

Why not just throw your stockers on for inspection? youll pass right thru...then come home and switch back! JMO.

 

my car came with the flows and i sold them... i hated em that much lol

 

I feel ya on the flows...sold mine too! maybe a strait-thru like borla,SSS or bassani should sound good...but if you want a chambered muffler id say JBA,they sem to sound really good even with an X pipe!

 

Smokestang was onto something with his first post: just throw on some stock mufflers and swap 'em after the inspection. I'm willing to bet you could find a used set on craigslist or ebay for cheap. I'm sure a good amount of people on the forum still have their stock pipes for the same reason, hell if you lived near by you could even borrow mine....

 

Actually...Ill be coming down to NC the 3rd week of june. if you want i can give you a set. ive got the stockers from both my 08 and my old 07 just lying around collecting dust!

 

hasdskjfhjadsklh 3rd week of june (15-20)ill be down in myrtle beach with the gf for senior week.. are you just passing through or will you be just here and then leaving? i'll be back on the 20th, so i mean all id have to do would be put them on inspect, and then give you back.. i've gotten good at the swapping the a/b so i wont waste time, id even put em on @ the inspection place,

Ill actually be down there around the 21st or so. visiting family in carolina beach for a few days, so no big deal. where abouts in NC are you in relation to CB? I dont have a set day or time to be there ,just stopping down for a few days!

 

ah lol youll be on the coast, im actually just outside of Charlotte (4 hours away) however, lol you're right up the road from Myrtle Beach lol
