Default Whipple Install Near Charlotte

Just bit the bullet on a new Whipple HO and do not feel comfortable doing the install myself. Would like to connect with a trustworthy installer/tuner in the greater Charlotte area. Please forward any recommendations...

Thanks!

congrats on the buy and welcome to the Whipple crew!

I am not sure of any shop in your area but there should be many...just go to a local mustang club and ask...they can help or the yellow pages or maybe search? Did you get polished or black?

I wont move this to the regional sections unless you want me too!

Congrats on your purchase. I don't have an answer for an installer in your area, but I can tell you that it really isn't that difficult to do at home (and save a ton of money). If you're good with basic hand tools and can follow directions well, you can do it in a weekend.

I have nothing but great things to say about PMP. They've done a lot of work for me and done an awesome job. I'm looking for a change of pace for the Whipple install, someone with a dyno to tune perfectly.

well I know they take their cars to Pro-Dyno for tunes, I was at both spots to pick up Ron's car.

Mase Engineering is in Jacksonville, FL, I trust him with anything tuning wise. he's tuned a 1380whp Ford GT, a 1150+whp Ford GT, and just did a whipple powered GT500 to 850+whp. if you were close to me I'd do the install, it's no that bad, just a lot of steps then you could have Mase tune it.
