Charge Motion delete plates?
Thank god! Altough, I probably could've used a gasket or two and some more daylight, it got dark before I finished, and I couldn't do a thorough leak check, which my test drive tells me I have. SH*T.
Hey East, how'd your afternoon go?

Anyway, it took me a long time because I broke some clamp spacers...and had trouble in general getting the 4 pieces together before I put it underneath the car. I started by connecting each side together long-ways...as in I put together the whole driver's side first (loosely clamped) in my garage (not under the car), then I put the whole passenger's side together and mated them at the "H" section before I even put anything on the car. With the entire pipe loosely assembled, I clamped the "H" section together (*you can and should use a drop of red loctite on each bolt on this clamp, and ONLY this clamp, as you can disassemble the midpipe without disturbing this clamp in the future*) and tightened a decent amount. Then I attached the midpipe to the rear over-axle pipes and tightened decently. Then I tightened the mid clamps that held the two halves of the pipe together. Then I bolted everything to the stock exhaust manifold. Basically, I progressed from the back of the car to the front.
I left my LoudMouths on initially...If I lived in complete desolation, that setup might be workable. In a neighborhood? Not a chance in hell. Does the o/r H sound good with stock mufflers? Meh, like anything dealing with stock...it could be a LOT better. It's downright quiet at startup, quieter than my LoudMouths on the stock midpipe haha.
I made a thread about it (mostly my frustrations) here: https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...ome-on-in.html
I'm very happy I got the pipe in (and generally pleased with the results), and it'll only be a matter of time before I get my Stingers, and the exhaust sounds AWESOME again.
/snip
Edit: I have a big exhaust leak...f#&%!
What do I do about the leak besides tighten bolts?

Yikes, East I feel you pain, I had an almost identical situation, putting up and taking down the pipe multiple times, until I decided that my first attempt had indeed been correct.
When I say I have a leak I should I hope I have a leak, because I don't like my sound at all. I'm headed back under the car now. THe Bassani is a five piece mid-pipe with all slip fits, I'm thinking I may have left a gap, I didn't finnish my install until it was dark out after-all......

I got back under there and found a leak, tighten it up and it sounds much better. I think there might still be a tiny leak somewhere else though. Bummer. My bigger frustration now is getting my mufflers to line up, I had to loosen every pipe connector to install the mid and now my mufflers are way out of line.
That said I'm biting the bullet and taking it to a shop with a lift so they can line it up and I'll ask them to check for leaks while they've got it on the lift.
