Default Getting Tuned

I am getting dyno tuned by Ed Clark on Tuesday. My car is running a little rich and lately has been a little sluggish. To give you an idea of how sluggish I lost to an Evo from a roll last night. It took my car forever to go from 55 to 100. I would think that the tune should take care of this. Do you guys think that is the problem? Also what do you think I will put down? I am thinking 270 or so H.P and 290 or so TQ.

With a JLT CAI, FLowmaster Axle-Backs and an SCT Dyno tune and running 93 octane... I put down 284rwhp and 310rwtq. Your numbers sound a little low. What octane are you running?

I have not gotten it tuned yet. I am getting it tuned on tuesday. I am running 93 octane. I am auto though so I figure I would dyno at least 10-15 less h.p and tq. than you are. That was just a rough guess of what it would put down.

Just make sure that the tuner is well aware of just how to measure and tune an auto and you should be putting down similiar numbers.

The guy doing is supposed to be on of the best SCT tuners. He did my friends 03 GT and picked him up 36 whp and 30 wtq. Hopefully I can dyno close to what you do. Have you ever run at the track, if so what was your best time?

I have no problems getting from 55 to 100. My car is a GT manual and I have a Steeda CAI, 4.10's and Borla Catbacks. I still don't have her tuned and I'm running 87 octane.

She will be tuned by Tuesday and hope to bring her up to 93 octane. I don't have any numbers for you but the car seem to respond the the gas pedal just fine.

To be a little more fair to 757, the Evo must have been modded, you could hear the turbo.

Well, you have a CAI and no tune (I think you said it wasn't tuned yet) so you can't be running rich. I'd be certain you are running to lean and starving your engine. A good tune on her and you'll feel the difference.

The intake and the exhaust with a bad tune like I have now makes the car run rich. You are giving it too much air. It will be tuned tomorrow, I had to reschedule.
