Default Line Locks

Hello all -

I'm in the market for a Line Lock/Roll Control system.

What is my best option? The SLP system looks good (and it's cheap), but what is the quality like? Am I better off paying $100 more for the dual-solenoid Granetelli version?

Get the SLP version. You don't need two solaniods. I have never heard of someone having a failure yet with the SLP. Sactown and I have used the crap out of ours with no issues.

Simon - thanks, that was just the confirmation I needed. I really don't want to spend $250 on a LL.

2007VistaGT - "Absolutely" what? I am better off spending more money? Can you comment on why, and do you have experience with either system?

Do a search using mine or Sactown's name and you should be able to find a step by step with pictures that will make the install much easier.

Get a dual solenoid kit. A single solenoid works great 99 percent of the time, but people HAVE had issues (very expensive issues) with a single solenoid kit in the past. Do a quick search at modularfords and you'll find some horror stories. ABS is not a cheap system to replace. I used to run the granatelli tire frier kit, which worked great, but I had to remove it to make room for the whipple. I now run the piedmont modular performance (PMP) line lock kit with Jeg's solenoids. Both kits are great.
