Default TCS off by default

I have an 09 GT and would like to have the traction control off when I start the car. Is there any way to do this? The car is a 5 speed so I really don't use the TCS unless the roads are wet.

In a word, no. I had a tune with it disabled, but it was disabled, period. I'm sure some electrical engineer could figure a way to rewire the switch, but i'm not going to try.

Link here. It costs $5, takes half an hour, and works well. Definitely a good mod to do.

^ what he said. do the relay ....takes 15-20 minutes and you get exactly wnat you want. everytime i turn the car on, it triggers the relay to "push" the button for me. so the relay is turning off the TCs every time you turn the key. its worked for me every time. and by doing this,it allows you to turn the TCS back on at any time you want it by just pressing the button again.

I don't know if it's worth the hassle right now but when I put my new head unit in I'll definitely wire up this mod, good find!

I did this on mine. Its works AWESOME and was very easy to rig up. I think I spent about $15 in parts. Highly recommended!!

Sorry to bring up an old post, but the link no longer works. Where can I get instructions to get TCS to be off when car starts? Thanks
