can you check your air fuel ratio on the SCT x3. I am concerned mine may be running rich

Yes... in a way, hook up your sct to your car and to your laptop and use Livelink to get the information you want.

how did you get your livelink started. I downloaded everything i needed i just cant find any instructions on what to click on and how to get it running

From the factory, the base fuel table at wot is set to .850 or 12.4 a/f. This is too rich, but is safe.
For best performance the wot a/f should fall between 12.8 and 13.2 for an n/a car. Trial and error.

So, to answer your question the best thing to do is to have the car dyno'd. If you are not happy with the a/f then have the shop adjust the fuel using a tuner.

^ to what GT John said, I'm pretty sure that it is only going to tell you what side of the lambda the tune is set on.

I am curious as to how to do this as well. What is the parameter I would monitor to determine the narrow band A/F ratio?
