TPS question
I remember helping a friend of mine many years ago with his '93, and there was a no-cost mod that involved 'tuning' the Throttle Position Sensor (IIRC), by adjusting it for an optimum voltage (or resistance?) and that enabled the computer to provide max power out of the engine.
Does anybody know if these newer ones will respond to the same kind of tuning? Has anybody tried?
I'm not too smart when it comes to these newer control systems, so I hope that someone smarter than me knows the answer!
Thanks,
Paul

The newer S197s have the same TPS position calibration
but its set at the factory and combined with the throttle
pedal calibration procedure, I dont see any huge gains
from 'tuning' the TPS....
But checking it as per the Workshop Manual could not hurt either.
