Thumbs down Help needed ...

I'm new here just bought a 2006 Mustang Gt Boss edition with a procharger and intercooler...it also has headers and a full exhaust ...I have changed all fluids to syn and want to change spark plugs and maybe the coils, just because i don't know when plugs were changed...what plug do you guy recommend? Didn't know if I needed a special kind for supercharger. I have heard that whatever it I get it needs to be a one piece plug. Any help would be appreciated.

you probably need to stay with HT0 plugs, which
are one range cooler than stock plugs. post up
some pics of the car when you can.

Autolite HT0 or Brisk (not sure the model off hand) one heat range colder. gap them to .032 if your at 10psi or less boost.

keep the stock coils... no need to change them

btw - There was no "Boss" edition cars.... the dealer just threw some decals on

You may want to look at this thread. The folks in there all have had some sort of sparkplug issue where the plug comes apart and you cannot remove without special tools.

The Brisk are by far the best set out there. we have installed hundreds of them. We have also been unlucky enough to hav to remove several broken stock plugs on cars that never got the TSB finished. The Brisk arent cheap and you should change them regularly on a blown motor, but worth it even from a dyno perspective.

Etiher way, the ATI units are seriously bad a$$ but get your car to a dyno to verify the fuel trims. Most of the stock kits do not have enough fuel to safely run the cars. Try to stay around 11.0:1 to 11.5:1. Most of our customers needed at least a fuel pump upgrade to keep their cars there on the top end.

send us an e-mail if you have any questions about your set up or if you need any further advice or parts. We've installed just about everything and I own 3 05+ Mustangs myself at different states of total mayhem. Eric@impulsecars.com

So I just ordered a set of the Brisk plugs and I will attempt to change myself following the TSB and keep my fingers crossed..I am looking in my area for a good place to have put on a dyno and tuned. The guy I bought it from said he put on dyno and It made 511 to wheels, but I do want to have done to make sure its right..and thanks for the info..
