Default starting problems

ok recently i just6 replaced my intake manifold! When i went to start the car nothing happened so i purchased a new battery thinking that was the cause of this what seemed to be a little problem then. After replacing the battery it still did not start so i went to the next problem which was the starter i replaced the starter but however when i put my key in the ignition everything comes on lights, radio, u get the point. When i go to crank the car nothing happens. Did i set of some kind of inertia switch or something in that nature or what please help!!!!
