Default Magic socket, 10 mm

I'm done with the disassembly portion of the KB install.

Damn near every bolt that gets taken off is a 10 mm. I swear I could take the majority of the car apart witha 10 mm socket and a screw driver.

Tomorrow, I start putting on all the cool stuff.

Neighbor has dropped by a few times to stare at the blower. Big nice and shiney.

Wife said she was glad she made the executive descision to get the polished version.

I've converted another one. My work here is done.

what made you get rid of the turbo?

10mm is a popular size.

I will take a final pic. This will not be this weekend most likely. Yes it will be installed and running, but the wiring that needs to be done in the kit leaves a godawful mess. I will spend anther weekend cleaning my garage and cleaning up the engine bay, along with wrapping, taping, looming and tucking wires back into places where they are not so unslightly.

I'm not hiding any wiring, just trying to make it look atleast as nice as it was prior to the KB.

Then how do you manage to get it registered? Let me guess, NV, or OR registration?

Simon, I somehow thought you had an STS kit, isn't that CARB approved?

yes, you can almost disassemble this cars with a 10mm socket, I love these cars finally being almost totally metric.

Well, I do not have to smog the car until 2011 or 2012. When you buy a new car in Cali you have 5-6 years before you have to have it smogged. So until then, you just pay the state it extortion fee (mine was $324 this year) every year until then.
