Go with the gta's. You'll like them. I made a mistake going with stingers as only an axleback, too much drone for me. They smoothed out a lot with my added o/r h.

Try the FRPP FR500S/Shelby KR mufflers. No drone, and louder/more aggressive than the GTAs.

+1 on the KR mufflers

It looks for now like I will stay put. If any thing I have found OEM Bullitt mufflers may be the way to go for me. I have found them in several places, used, for $350ish. I just can't see myself shelling out $700 for a pair of Corsa's or the like. Especially if the sound is close to what I have now (stock).

+1 on the FRPP GTA's. (or GTB's) I had GTA's on for 30,000 miles, nice mufflers. Moved on to FRPP 5GT's (Stingers) You wouldn't like those!

Corsa is good too, but Corsa = $$$

ive had the stingers since i bought the car 17 months ago and the only time they drone is b/w 1700-2000rpms. i kinda like it though. not bad at all. ive been in some that were a lot worse. but as others have said corsa has no drone but will def put a dent in the wallet

I have been on another thread a bout the same thing. Other than installation problems, what about Pype's Violators? That is about all I can afford at the moment. Is the istallation hang up just bending the hangers or are they just in the wrong place. If they are just in the wrong place no problem. I weld for my paycheck.

I have the Pypes Violators and really like them. There is some drone around 2000 rpm but it isn't that bad. They installed with no problems. I have a set of the Flowmaster 50 series axle backs that have no drone but aren't much louder than stock that I'll sell for $250.00 shipped. I had them on for about 100 miles.
