Default Long Tube Header Install

Hey guys, I was thinking about doing JBA Long Tube header install on my 10 GT how much would it cost to get it done by a shop or how much have you guys seen or estimates?

i got a quote for 600 to install pypes longtube headers i ended up not doing it b/c im getting gears done. for just a little more than 600 dollars i can get 410s installed and feel a much more improvement in power.

Kooks fit and perform better! Don't know about install price though, I did my own. Not as hard as it would first appear.

Yeah save yourself the money for install and get kooks. May look scary at first but its just nuts and bolts.

So you guys think Kooks would be easier for me to install? What are garages that you can use a lift and work on the car by your self and pay like a daily fee? Do people have those I wish I could find a place like that in Chattanooga TN or around the area then I would be more apt to do the header install since i am in college here!

I installed JBA shorties on my 2010 and it took me and a buddy 8 hours from start to finish with air tools, but no lift. We are both very experienced with wrenching on cars, but this was a major pain. I say if you can find someone who'll do it, and do it right, for less than $400 then pay it. If I ever consider switching to longtubes later I will definitely pay someone else to install them.

What type of problems did you run into that made it an 8hour job?
