Default What are you S/C guys doing to your trannies?

Are you running stock trannies?

And if not what do you upgrade to?

Anyone running in the 375rwhp-425rwhp range

A lot has to do with how you shift.
It you power shift and drag race a lot, you're on burrowed time even with a stock engine.
375/425 hp range is very conservative with any blower on a GT and the tranny can handle that.
Once you get close to the 500hp mark, you need to behave. lol.

Ima eventually put a high perfromance clutch in mine. Are you asking about manuals or autos?

sorry manuals

and no power shifting.

Just wondering IF I were to get a '10 GT if I could throw on a 6lb blower and have a conservative tune and basically have no worries

seems like a waste to me....there is a ton more potential there. Get something that can do upto 10lbs and still run a conservative tune would be a better idea
