Default engine question

i have a 2000 mustang gt. the engine recently gave out on it after about 130k miles... so i searched craigslist for about 2 weeks til i found a pull out from a wreck for 700.. it was supposed to be a 99 gt motor with 78k miles on it but something is weird about it.. it has the 11 bolt valve cover on it with the oil filler on the right side of the motor.. the 2000 motor i pulled out was a 13 bolt valve cover with the oil filler on the left side, which i have always thought was a windsor motor(i'm new to the whole 99-04 scene i've always drove 5.0s) so i thought i had a romeo motor.. problem is my buddy who is putting it in has an 04 gt with the 11 bolt valve cover with the oil filler on the left side... so my question is what the hell do i have? my motor has an 11 bolt valve cove with the oil filler on the right valve cover.. is this a romeo or a windsor motor? is it out of a 99 or possibly a later model? i'm so confused.. any help would be great
