Default Brenspeed new engine

Just looked at Brenspeeds web site, they are coming out with there own built 302 stoker. Price about 3300.00 sounds like a pretty good deal.

I'm happy about this. They offer 281 or 302. But it seems they're setup for FI with lower than stock compression. So I guess anyone that wants a high compression N/A setup may be SOL?

Still an excellent deal.

I've already emailed Chandler about the 302. Me and my buddy are considering both betting them, though I'll have to get a few additional mods at the same time and he's basically set with his current fuel system and drive shaft.

I've only had the blower on for about a month so I don't want to jump the gun on going all out, but this is a great deal by a great company...

If $3300 is the guesstimate price of the 302, anyone think we can get the forged 281 for less than 3k?

Ok educate me as I am not a mechanic. What else do you need to purchase to make this engine work? Or what does it NOT include?

$3300 seems inexpensive for a whole new engine.....but WTF do I know. If I blow out my motor thats all its gonna cost me.....plus install obviously? What its hp and torque ratings?

It isn't a whole new engine, it just just the short block.

$3300 is misleading because there are still installation and tuning costs, other parts, etc.

HP and TQ will depend on what mods you have/transfer over and what you add. Also the tune is probably a huge factor.
