Cherry Bomb Extreme 55506 axel backs
I have listened to a lot of exhaust clips and have narrowed the field down. I want an aggresive sound but not obnoxious. Can someone with the Cherry Bombs tell me how the interior noise is and if there is much drone. I know it is difficult to totally eliminate the drone since the mufflers are at the same length of exhaust pipe but I also know some axel backs are worse tha others.
Thanks,
Jim

I listened to the clip also. They really sound good for the price. I found them for $299.00 at Ninosport. http://www.ninosport.com/2005-2010-M...acks-s/655.htm
I'm still thinking Magnaflow, or possibly GTB's Feedbavk on the Cherrybombs would be great if anybody has it??

the cherrybombs pro & extreme do pop and crack alot. They do have drone, too much for me more than the ford racing stingers but less than the MAC axelbacks/boomtubes. But they do have a nice idle though with the stock H-pipe.

Thanks for the responses! I have been down this exhaust road many times and without being able to hear first hand what they sound like inside and out, I am dragging my feet on making a choice. I want a little louder than stock so I can shift by sound but don't want it too loud or a lot of drone. I want the old muscle car sound not the Nascar sound. I think it will be difficult on the 3 valve motor. Search is still on but I'm thinking the best I've heard so far is the FRPP Stingers from video/sound clips.

i have the cherry bomb extremes on my fox
they are deep and loud, but do have a drone to them
on an s197 i would guess they would be pretty loud and deep also. if i wasn't this satisfied with my current setup i would give them a try.
LMperformance has them for 229
