just wondering what the biggest hp rating is that you all are using.i would like to go up at least another 25hp but am a little worried about it. also what brand of kits did you buy? anyone got the nitrous express kit? they give thier numbers at the back tire where as zex gives it at the flywheel.any info?

 

I personally like the Zex kit.

Reguardless of who you choose, you won't be able to go over about 75hp ( some are playing with 100 ) until someone comes out with colder plugs for the motor.

 

hey hawgman, im using the zex kit with the 100 shot but would like to step up a little more. it sucks no one is making a colder plug right now, but i do think switching from motorcraft plugs to autolites helps. i would like to hear from someone using the nitous express kit. just to see any differences. what is the biggest shot you have used?

 

just bought the zex kit. cant wait to install it. Im going to try the 100 shot.

 

mics2005gt, you will be amazed at how easy the install is. just make sure you triple check the bottle placement. also you might want to think about changing the plugs out too. what other mods do you have?

 

jtscuba02, eibach springs, jlt cold air,excalibrator tune,slp exhaust,charge motion plates, and of course the new zex nos. Ive got 315hp @ the wheels.

 

Wow, that looks to be about 45HP max gain--doesn't seem right unless you're not including the NOS in that rating?

 

fragstertx, the cai and tune add quite a bit of power. i think with just the cai and tune we got something like 38 more hp. with just the small hit of n2o mine is putting out 354 hp. if you havent done the cai and tune yet, you wont believe the difference it makes.

 

hello all just got the nos done. with a 100 shot of nos i have 383 hp and 432 toruqe cant wait to go to the trak.

 

that is awesome! i havent got to dyno mine with the new pullys water pump, and the delete plates. i am hoping for at least another 15 hp at the tires. i guess we will see on saturday. nice numbers man.
