Default Differential

sorry for so many posts...I'm just trying to find out as much about these cars as possible so I can hit the ground running...I've got the modding fever since I had my Charger...anyway

Whats the differential for the 05 GT...is it a posi-rear? if not is there anyway to switch the differential to get a posi-rear? in otherwords, does a stock GT only have one wheel producing power instead of both rear wheels...my Charger had a posi-rear and I'm really hoping this car does too...

Thanks

I believe it does have only one wheel pushing because when I stomp it and get in the power band my *** always goes to the left and the car takes a slight right lean.

It does have a posi rear in it. I'm about to have mine re-built with the FRPP clutch packs that are used in the GT500. They are a bit stronger than the ones used in the regular GT.

If you are getting a 1 wheel burn, the clutch packs most likely need to be replaced.

All GT's have a Limited Slip differential.
