Default nitrous question

i can get a 75 shot nitrous kit nearly new for $400 with installation for $200 from a buddy of mine .... and i don't plan to do more than a 75 shot. first off it will be a couple of years til i get my blower- do you think this is a good temporary situation for the time being? 2nd , this is my weekend car and would probably hit the nitrous 2- 4 times a month...how bad of damage would i be doing to the car in the mean time? third , do you think its cheesy to run nitrous in a mustang lol?

1) You're really the only one that can determine that. If you want more power, go for it.

2) If using a wet system that is set up right, you shouldn't really be doing any damage. You should see if there is some sort of timing retard unit that will work with our computers so you can dial back the timing a few degrees when you hit the juice.

3) I don't think its cheesy to run nitrous on anything. The biggest comment we received when running Nitrous on my friends Corvette was that it was cheating. We'd then ask if they would run it to which they would respond "hell no I don't want to blow my motor." We'd then say, "We'll, if you're too scared to run it, quit your bitchin and race."

On a side note, have you gone back to the track and raced with all your mods. What are your 60' times? With those modes you should be a good tick faster than 14.4.

Wet or dry?
Canned Nitrous Tune or Custom Dyno Tune?

The fun is so far and inbetween, the question
is ?WHY? just for occasional street use?
