Default 5.0 vs lexus ISF?

Im just talking froma performance perspective it would be an interesting conversation to have ISF has a couple of things not on its side being that its way more expensive and 4 doors but pretty sure it may out handle a 5.0 stock for stock but obviously the mustang can be upgraded in that department. just want to hear other peoples opinions as car enthusiast on this. The lexus also sports a 5.0 ( shockingliny they actually came out with this a year or two ago ) i think its producing 416 hp and an 8 speed auto( sigh no auto)

The ISF weighs in at a hefty 3800 lbs. Equal drivers considered. The 5.0 would spank it. You sure do a lot of car comparison threads, lol.

Motortrend has it running 13 @ 111.7mph and 0-60 in 4.7...

The 2010 GT with tune and CAI with a good driver could keep up with that... its like a Camaro with a Lexus badge ha.

The 5.0 would kill it, but having kids I like the four door option... less the price.

The Lexus IS-F and 2011 Mustang GT compare well against each other if the Mustang is optioned correctly for best performance. I would love to see a comparison between the 2011 Mustang GT with the brembo brake package, 2010 M3 and IS-F. Just to see how the stack up on a race track both road and drag strip.

You'd need a hell of a lot more than the crate motor. Expect a 4.6 to 5.0 conversion to cost AT LEAST $15K, probably more.

I raced an ISF at the track in my mostly stock 08 GT. It was dead even until about 90. He pulled about 2 cars by the end of the 1/4.

Sorta fail.
