Default Delete plates when installing Procharger??

So if I am going with a centri, that will start making power around say, 3K (centri guys step in here) will it matter if I install delete plates? I am going with a D-1SC procharger. Seems like it wouldn't matter so much unless I am running a twin screw. You guys opinions? Steeda Economies fine? What's the going price now a days?

I was planning as to do this as well but for some reason didnt. I would love to see reasons to do this mod. Seems simple enough as long as the value is there.

I did mine before the blower and got some really good results (instant throttle response, some mid-top end increase) Overall, I liked the gains and really should have done them sooner. Kinda hard to tell with the Vortech on, but I'd rather have them on, than not. The stock charge motion plates are a restriction! You'll understand once you see for your own eyes lol.. you'll wonder why they even put them there in the first place!

Removing the delete plates opens up the intake passage a little more, less restriction to air flow under boost.

with as much air as the centi is pulling thru, i'd definitely use the delete plates...whats another 100 if you already got 3500 to 4k in a blower

Call me cheap but I dont see the con of filling the stock ones unless the steeda economy deletes are the same size ports? Seems pretty foolproof? Any nightmare stories?

When I switched ot he delete plates with FI I had some low speed, decel surging. You may experience it or you may not. I had a turbo so it was slightly different.

Youmay consider a before and after approach. They are really easy to replace and retuning should be a snap. Give it a try and see what they do on the car and if you are happy, don't change. Or change it later just to see.
