Default limited slip differentail question!?!??!?!?

I recently bought a 2001 Mustang GT 5speed... now in the specifications on various sites and from what i hear this car has a limited slip rear differential ( positraction ) but when i wanted to see wat i could do with it but there was a problem. I was completely stoped in 1st gear about to take a 90 degree right turn and i figured i could whip it out sideways.. i reved it up and dropped the clutch and took the turn i heard the squeeling and then the engine redlined right at the apex of the turn but it didnt go sideways it just stayed in a normal line... i look back at the strips and only one wheel spun.... i was wondering if its possible to whip the car out sideways or even do donuts with it.... and i had TCS off..

It is definetly possible to whip the *** end around cause I did it last friday on accident when leaving work. If it makes you feel any better I never really leave any stripes at all just a the tires squeeling but no marks (or really light ones, nothing like I have seen others do).

I raced a SC'ed 97 cobra a while back and he roasted em more than I did and even he left no marks, must be the concrete we use here in Nebraska

Try doing it on a straight line. Some times BC of the centrifugal force you'll get ony one side off the wheels on a corner. That's just a possibility. Just do a burn out and see that both tires lave marks on the groung and that the marks are even. Your car should have the posi.
