Is it me, or does the 4.6 Mustang GT sound better than the new 5.0?

Thanks lol.
A teen handle a 5.0.
That is a tricky question.
MOST teens I would NOT recommend it to.
Especially teens these days. (no offense)
But there are a few teens out there that are responsible and have had enough experience on the road with parents to operate one.
I would not even recommend one of the older GT's to a normal teen though.
You really have no idea how powerful a 300hp car is with alot of torque much less a 412Hp one.
It takes LITTLE for the car to get away from you and that is VERY dangerous.
I gotta admit if I was a teen I'd be thinking I was the most badass person in town with a new 5.0...... but man the new V6 is MORE than enough for a teen. More power than most teens should have.
I'm only in my 30's, but when I was a teenager I saved up my OWN cash and found an old '70 MACH 1.
Orange with black stripes... decked out.. racing seats... SUCH a beauty.
Was the first classic muscle car I had ever seen in real life and I immediately fell in love with it.
Was down the street from me and the owner had kept it in awesome condition.
This was back in the early to mid 90's.
Took my father to check it out with me and we test drove it.
I thought I was in a damn rocket ship when the engine started and I heard it.
We drove it for a couple of miles. Actually... HE drove it.
Got it back and my father kept telling me how awesome the car was.
The owner only wanted 6k for it.
So I said to him "I should buy it then right dad?"
His reply to me was ...
"You are NOT going to buy this car. I will not allow it. If you buy this car you will end up getting yourself killed."
The car today would be worth at LEAST 30k.. maybe alot more.
Although there is a part of me that will never forgive him for that car getting away from me,especially with my own money... the wise and mature adult in me realizes that my father did what was best for my safety and he was probably right in what he said.

there are a lot of things that makes the exhaust sound the way it does.
displacement, # of valves, cams, FI, firing order, muffler placement (2v's have a resonance with the mid mufflers), midpipes, diameter of pipes, etc.
give the 2011 GT more time so the aftermarket can catch up and it will sound a lot better than it does now.
if i had a 2011 GT i would lose the axle back mufflers, dump it right after the resonators, LT's, and o/r h pipe, and some cams. this could sound deadly.
IMO, a nicely done push rod fox body sounds the best.
