V3 intercooler

I was looking at brenspeed V3 kit just doing a price comparison if I already have the X3 tuner. Or if I purchase one now with the free tunes for life gig. Then blower next year..... This kit comes with the intercooler but I just cannot seem to find anywhere.. I know I would still need to purhased plugs, injectors, IAT relocator and a fuel pump... how much is the HP for this intercooler. Where the hell do you buy this intercooler?

Your best bet is probably to go through Brenspeed for this particular kit. They will likely have some of the best tunes you'll find. If you already have a tuner, they will adjust the price of the base kit, you just have to call. The intercooler upgrade over the base kit is worth probably 40-60rwhp more because of the more aggressive tune.
I think I was possibly the first person to have that Brenspeed kit on the forums here, so I can answer questions if you have any about my experiences (it was on my 09 which I sold). I only had the base kit though. Just keep in mind this kit focuses more on top end, than a twin screw, and it feels that way. You won't know you have a blower until north of 3000rpm.
Basially the intercooler is 1800 more. Total 5699 Why is summit's only 3K with an intercooler? Seems it would make more sense to go to summit spend 3K buy the other parts needed for 6 or 700 then get a dyno tune. Or am I missing something somewhere?
Thanks.
Thanks.
That summit kit doesn't include an intercooler, their picture is inaccurate. That part number is for a Vortech standard kit. The high output containing the intercooler is this one I think:

You'd still need a tuning device, tune, injectors, plugs, fuel upgrade, etc. I searched around extensively when I bought mine and couldn't find enough of a savings anywhere to warrant NOT going with Brenspeed. They know these cars better than most anyone IMO. When I had mine installed, I was willing to do a dyno tune, and the shop looked at the Brenspeed "canned" tune and said they couldn't even improve it....
The Brenspeed HO kit is $5154 which includes everything: http://www.brenspeed.com/v3vortechho.html
I would recommend buying the HO up front. Its several hundred bucks cheaper than way, than to start with the basic kit and upgrade later. If you do any kind of aggressive driving on a routine basis, or racing at the track, you won't be happy with the base kit anyway. It'll heat soak fast and you'll be annoyed. I never had this problem really because I didn't get on it much, so the power was always there when I did.
If I had to do it over again, frankly I wouldn't supercharge a car for several grand, I'd just buy a faster car like a used GT500. That said, if I were in the same situation today as I was when I bought the Vortech, and knew what I knew now, I'd probably have gone with a Roush roots kit, or Magnacharger. They don't have the same overall power output potential, but both are cooled and the power is available on the low end of the RPM range where I drive 99% of the time. You have to wind that Vortech out to redline to get maximum power out of it. Its a good kit, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Great for the great write up. http://www.autopartsdealer.com/vorte...tent=APD420225 another site they both said INTERCOOLER INCLUDED IN SPECS I need to call them.
I agree on HO I live in GA high 90's during summer. GT 500 High dollar in insurance. But overall that makes sense to do it that way.

That's a great deal! I'd jump on that!
Again, thats not an HO part #. I think that picture is just wrong. Look at that part # on Vortech's page, that is a standard kit tuner package, for which the price is right inline...
