BTW finally found someone on youtube that had the same noise.
This is what it sounds like.

NOBODY has been able to offer me any causes or solutions.
And unlike the comments say below the video, mine does it MORE as the car warms up and I have been driving it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah80_hjjoxI

My car sat for about two weeks right after I had the clutch installed and I put 150 mi. on it because I was sick.
I put the rest of the break in mi. after.

could this damage the clutch or anything?
And what needs to be done?

Yup, that's the sound my 3+ occasionally makes. I'd have to guess it's just the materials the clutch material is made of making that noise. Mine's made that for 9k miles and it's still working perfectly so I've just learned to deal with it.

Mine once the car heats up does it at almost every fuggin red light.
You don't think the think I posted above could be a culprit or make it worse?
And did yours get better as it broke in? I have 550 mi. on mine.
But I did not get the sound until about 350-400mi on it.

There is no way in HELL I can deal with hearing that at almost every red light for the life of the clutch.

Mine actually started occurring more frequently after the clutch was broken in. Mine's not as loud as the one in the video and it doesn't happen with each start.

If you can't stand it you'll probably need to get a different clutch. I have a feeling it's the carbon/metallic materials in it that make that sound similar to the metallic brake pads that will squeal sometimes.

I called Brenspeed since they sell them.
I did not buy it from them but Chandler said it was my slave cylinder.

I told him the sound and he even made it back to me and said
he did not think... the KNEW it was the slave cylinder..

I dunno what to do....
If it's not the slave then I am wasting time and money.

If I wait to try more driving on it to see if it goes away or lessens and it is the slave could that damage anything else?
The thing is though... I swear it is not getting better but worse.

If it is my clutch... then what kid of clutch should I replace it with?
I don't have the money to get a thousand dollar clutch or anything

I've read many times of people having slave cylinder failures with Spec 2 & 2+ clutches so it's entirely possible that it's the issue. As far as another clutch, alot of people seem to like the Roush P51 clutch or an Exedy clutch.

Stay away from the centerforce ones though. I had a dual friction one before and hated it. Chattered bad and made the clutch pedal very heavy.

I am going to have the slave cylinder replaced and have the dealership take apart this clutch to make sure everything looks ok.

I really hope it is the slave cylinder. If not then I'll have to save up enough money until I can replace this clutch with one that does not make the noise.

I am kind of on the fence here because getting a new clutch right now would really put me in a bind but at the same time
If replace the slave and it's the clutch then I would have to pay for them to open up the tranny again and that is like 400 on it's own. If the sound turned up still being there after the slave was put in I would have to save up in order to replace the clutch again.

One more thing... to me for some reason when it DOES make the noise it also "FEELS' kinda like something physically is going on like a scrape or something.

BTW can a bad slave cylinder damage my new clutch?

Yes it can because if the slave cylinder does not depress the pressure plate enough then the clutch can wear out prematurely.

How long would the slave have to be bad to do this?

That puts me in another bind because I was wanting to know if this sound would subside as some say it might with the clutch... but if it is the slave cyl that is bad then I could be messing up the clutch while trying to find out if it is the slave cyl or the clutch that is doing this!

Anything else that can get damaged if the slave cyl is bad?
What it I drove with a bad one untill they put the new one in next week to see if the clutch sound subsided before I put the slave cyl in? I would still put it in just for good cause. But if the sound got better at least I would know I did not need to replace the clutch and I could have a new slave cylinder, for good cause as I said.

Plus I am just finding out that you are supposed to replace the pilot bearing (at least that is what the american muscle instructions say even though not written by spec),
and for some reason SPEC does not include them with the 2005 up kits but they do with earlier models!

This is all a freaking nightmare.

I am trying to find out more on Exedy clutches (particularly the Mach 500)

They said that it COULD be glaze like SPEC said and to be more aggressive with it and see if that helped. If I launch from 3kRPM or up it really makes the sound.

I have no clue what to do now.
mine does the same thing! i broke it in the way it supposed to and a couple thousand miles later its just now making the noise at 3k or higher. so far nothing major has happened so im just gonna roll with it.
