Default first (and hopefully last) time getting pulled over

so, heading home tonight from dropping off the daughter at dance class. cruising along and feeling a little frisky weaving in and out of traffic. got the stones 'exile on main street' on the radio. jump over a lane and forget to hit the turn signal. constable on my tail notices, though. lights me up. "license and insurance, please." comes back, says i looked like i was in a hurry and frustrated with traffic. told him "no, just being stupid with this car i just got." he asks me, "so how much it got, 3-something?" told him no, it's 412 hp. lets me off with a warning and says he loves mustangs, too. he said "no problem, i understand. tonight you just had the po-po behind you." classic shiite, man. classic.

Sometimes you get lucky and get a Mustang fan or owner to pull you over.

Sweet. But I also hope it makes you a bit less frisky in traffic. Save the friskies for the open road... Like I did on my way home from work today... no traffic ahead of me as I turned onto the highway, no PO-lice in sight, RD quiet as a mouse, 0-100 in no time, bouncing off the rev limiter but then drifted down that 35 MPH back to the PSL of 65... Yeah, baby.

i'm not buying it. someone old enough to have a daughter in dance class is not
going to be driving like an idiot. it's a nice story though.

As a father of two I can vouch for stupidity and that procreation does not remove it from your system.

You need to get friendly with the local body shop
cus thats where you are headed quick.

There are places to bump it up a notch but traffic is not one of them.

I must have missed something..I don't see the fun of weaving in and out of traffic..sounds dangerous and stupid to me.

As a grandfather of 4, I can confirm all of the above!!! For me what counters the stupidity is the possibility (or rather guarantee) of shelling out more cash in fines & insurance (after that 1st one)!
